Conscious Collage

This workshop method is about the relation between images and our unconscious brain.

Every day, all day long, our senses are stimulated with images. Advertisements, social media, marketing, magazines. All these images affects our brain, whether we realize it or not. In this workshop participants become aware of how these images can influence our unconscious brain.

Through research, trial and error, a final method is created, which is based on a theory explained by consumer psychologist Patrick Wessels. In the final version of the workshop the participants create a collage through 3 steps. In every step the awareness about our triggers becomes bigger. By discovering what triggers our subconscious brain, the workshop stimulates more conscious buying behaviour.
